Put a dick in your ear
...and Fuckwatchaheard, Pt. 3
Guns N' Roses are a fuckin racist band. I heard some bullshit review like this:
"One In A Million is just a killer track tho. A masterpiece which never got the recognition it deserved ont eh grounds that is was racist and homophobic. Some people are so dumb..."
People just don't get it. It's really easy to say that a band is great and people who don't like it are dumb and all if their dumbass hipocrisy doesn't affect you. Let's go into some of the lyrics:
"Police and Niggers, that's right
Get out of my way
Don't need to buy none of your
Gold chains today"
...uh...no comment, that speaks for itself.
"Immigrants and faggots
They make no sense to me
They come to our country
And think they'll do as they please
Like start some mini Iran,
Or spread some fuckin' disease
They talk so many goddamn ways
It's all Greek to me"
Listen to that shit. "They come to our country" like gays are imported. Seriously, there are this people who came to North America to destroy the lives of the people who lived there for generations as far as anyone can remember. These people who destroyed this land are called Englishmen. And spreading diesease? Again, that just speaks for itself.
"Radicals and Racists
Don't point your finger at me"
This is just the dumbest shit ever. He's calling who racist, exactly?
My next door neighbor a while back loved G&R. I think its kind of weird looking back on it, he had pretty dark skin and didn't know that much English. I can't even remeber the music, but I just think there are things you just can't look over. People completely ignore the fact that the year this song was released, they had 2 albums in the Top 5.
Mos Def made a real good point a while back on the whole thing. Some people started calling out "rap music" for homophobia or disrepespect for women. Calling out a whole genre is terribly flawed logic, pointing out to songs like that GNR song or the Motley Crue's "Girls, Girls, Girls". The point being: songs like that have had mainstream acceptance and it wasn't a problem till a rapper did it. I am kinda elaborating on what Mos said, but there you go.
