Here's the good news

Now, after this comes the "bad news" post, but this one is just the good news.

Nas and DJ Premier are making a whole album together. Now this has been rumored for a while but it seems as though it's completely official now. Check out the new issue of Scratch Magazine.

DJ Premier is, in my not-so-humble opinion, is the best producer ever. Premier has produced a lot of classic songs (which i'll list later) and alot of Nas's best, like "Nas is Like..." or "New York State of Mind" or "2nd Childhood."

It's hard to argue against that Nas is currently the best MC there is. I mean, seriously, there is not alot of competition. Maybe the only time he hasn't shone over DJ Premier production is "Come and Get me" or whatever it's called, but that is off of "Nastradamus" so you can see why that wouldn't be too great.

Here's an awesome remix by Los Amigos Invisibles to "The Negotiation Limerick File" by the Beastie Boys.

A few DJ Premier produced songs:
Jeru the Damaja - Come Clean
Notorious B.I.G. - 10 Crack Commandments
Mos Def - Mathematics
Common - The Light
Jay-Z - D'Evils
Royce da 5'9'' - Boom
Gangstarr - Take a Rest
Big L - The Big Picture

Wow, its about time. My brother and I have been discussing Nas lately. He asked if I was getting the next Nas album, and I was like of course. But everytime Nas releases an album I'm disappointed. I know that I should not expect another Illmatic, but dammit I want something near it. Maybe this album will be amazing.
